Pregnancy is one of the worlds most incredible miracles.

Although, sometimes, this time can feel it goes for a while, nine months is such a short period in your life and one that you will never get back again.

I’m sure its no surprise to read that I truly believe capturing images of your family is one of the most important things you can do for yourself, kids and friends and family.

living in Sydney, we are so caught up in the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, its very rare that we get to sit back and truly appreciate the joy in just being present with your most cherished and loved ones. Photography is one of the greatest investments you can make for your family. You get to freeze that special moment for the rest of your life.

I am a mother of three kids who are growing up so quickly before my very eyes. I’m always taking photos of them (much to their dismay) and I’m always blown away at how much they change in a matter of months.
But on that note too, I’ve realised how little photos the kids have of themselves with me. As a mother you tend to always be behind the camera capturing memories but not actually being in them yourselves. I want to change this! I want mums and dads to be in their children’s memories! Make memories together. Laugh, play games, be silly, relax and let go! I want you to take center stage in their images and in their lives!

The way I shoot is a bit of a mixture of guided and documentary style. I like to hang back and let you play and interact with each other but I also step in and help guide you into those purposefully led shots too. I feel like this creates an even balance of comfort for you and your family in the sense you’re not standing there not knowing what to do, but you’re also not overwhelmed and bored with being told how to turn your shoulder and hold your head.

I am located on the Northern Beaches Sydney and we are absolutely spoilt for choice with the locations around here. I have a long list of places I use for session but am also always happy to hear suggestions.
I do travel outside of the Northern Beaches too and am opening up my ideas about Interstate travel too (so always ask)
