Newborns

Newborns are a precious gift that bring us so much happiness and joy. The first few weeks can feel like such a blur, between sleepless nights, feeding, changing, trying to shower… it all blends into one.
Its so easy to get caught up in the newborn fog and before you know it they are 4 months old and you don’t know where the weeks went.
My aim is to capture every teeny tiny memory of your brand new baby, to freeze this time and capture those little details that quickly get forgotten. I want to remind you forever, of just how tiny, perfect and honest your little one was.

My newborn photography is led by your baby. Yes I have poses I try to gently guide them into, but I will never force anything that is un-natural for them, nor will I push a pose when the baby is reluctant to comply. I want them to lead the way and capture their personality and make your session individual to your family.

My poses are snuggly and warm to replicate their positions in the womb. This ensures they are comfortable and feel safe the whole time.

I have an assortment of wraps, headbands and a few outfits in the studio that you are welcome to use.
All of my props compliment each other and can be used in any set up as well as used for layering to add texture and depth in your images.

Newborns are typically photographed within the first 3 weeks of age. (however this is a guidance for the sleep shots. I will never turn a baby away so please don’t be disheartened if you miss that three week gap. The aim of my work is to capture forever moments of your baby for you and I can do that for you regardless of your babies age)

Your session will be held in the comfort of my studio located in Allambie Heights on the Northern Beaches.
